VINTAGE
The year 2025 is expected to produce an exceptional vintage. Following a mild winter and a wet spring, the growing season was marked by hot summer days with significant diurnal temperature variations. This combination of abundant sunlight allowed for optimal grape maturation, while cooler nights helped preserve acidity, resulting in intensely aromatic wines that are both complex and well-balanced. While excellent now, we expect this wine to show best with at least one to two years ageing.
VINEYARDS
The Sangiovese for this elegant wine is cultivated and harvested specifically for rosé, and is selected from our highest elevation vineyard, located over 420 meters above sea level. This altitude allows the fruit to benefit from cool evening breezes, fostering the development of delicate floral aromatics and a distinctive minerality.
VINIFICATION
Once the grapes are ready for harvest, the clusters are carefully handpicked during the cool early morning hours. They are then immediately whole-cluster pressed to minimize prolonged contact with the grape skins. This process results in a pale pink color, showcasing the characteristic coppery hue of Sangiovese
TASTING NOTES
This beautiful rose gold wine presents a bright and refreshing character, showcasing a delicate floral profile on both the nose and the palate. It is complemented by notes of citrus and melon with a crisp minerality on the finish.
