VINTAGE
The 2023 vintage saw a particularly rainy spring that transitioned into a scorching summer, which ultimately led to a decrease in the overall yield of the vineyards for this growing season. However, this climatic variation enhanced flavor concentration, resulting in vibrant and well-structured wines.
VINEYARDS
Located at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level, the vineyards of this selection are trained using the Guyot system and are located on rocky slopes rich in clay and limestone, facing west.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are hand-harvested, then gently destemmed before being fermented on the skins for approximately 14 days. After fermentation, the wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation and is aged for 10 months in 90% stainless steel tanks and 10% in small 225-liter French barriques.
TASTING NOTES
This wine boasts a pale red hue and presents an enticing bouquet of berry aromas, complemented by floral hints of violet and a subtle spiciness from aging in French oak. On the palate, it is defined by its freshness, lightness, and elegance. It is best served at around 16°C.
